Smaller but needed update
The new version 1.6.3 doesn't add any new functionality, however I'd like everyone to use this version instead of the older ones :)
Why? Good question!
I just got my April bill from Google cloud services and it appears that the past month there were more than 1 million voice lines played! That is really cool as it shows that this is a much appreciated feature, however after 1 million lines it is not free anymore :(
So I ended up paying (a bit) for this free app. Obviously since this is a free app I need to avoid having to pay for it, so I added a small change that will cache the voice lines as much as possible instead of retrieving a new one every time. That will hopefully limit the costs enough. I'm thinking mostly of "A player left the tournament" line, if a tournament has 30 players on average, that saves me 28 downloads per tournament.
I've also updated to the latest Unity version.
On another note: I want everyone to know I'm working on a big new update! It is so big that it will introduce a new major version number. In other words I'm working on HPTM v2.0!
It will contain player and seat management and a whopping lot more, but I won't spill all the beans just yet!
Stay tuned!
ps: If you want to support me: that is much appreciated! The best way is through positive ratings both here on itch.io and Google Play store.
